Osteopathic Research Alliance (ORA) is an initiative of the Faculty of Health at Southern Cross University. The faculty has a strong history of contributing to scientific advances that bestow benefits on individuals and organisations in Australia and beyond.

The objectives of ORA are to:

  • raise the profile of osteopathic research through national and international research collaboration in osteopathy and/or osteopathy relevant topics
  • strengthen the evidence-base of osteopathy and ultimately the quality of osteopathic care provided to the community
  • promote and support the translation of research into osteopathic practice
  • foster expertise among osteopathic researchers to promote health in individuals and communities
  • facilitate communication and support between osteopathic researchers and potential researchers.
